Meet 21-year-old producer Kaelin Ellis. The Floridian has dropped his latest project called “Veil”.
Kaelin was originally part of an online collective, dubbed LOAFLAB, where he came in contact with fellow musicians and later collaborative partners Kaytranada, Tek(.Lun), Dropout Marsh, oriJanus and many more.
Drawing influence from idols like J Dilla, Sango and Flying Lotus, the young beatsmith is solidifying himself as one of 2018’s most exciting producers to watch.
After numerous EPs, Toronto producer trio Keys N Krates have dropped their formal debut album, “Cura”, earlier this year via Dim Mak, led by the Tory Lanez-guested “Music To My Ears”. That single now has a matching set of visuals (Crank Yankers, anyone?).
Check out both, video and album (featuring Ambré Perkins and G.O.O.D. Music‘s 070 Shake) here:
Columbia-born Stevie Stone and Kansas City’s JL join forces under Tech N9ne‘s Strange Music label to bring you “Kontra-Band”.
The album’s title is a nod to the popular ’80s video game “Contra”, which featured two characters running and gunning their way to the top, so you get an idea of what to expect from these 2 powerful independent voices.
Watch the video for “Groomed By The Block” featuring Brooklynite Phresher and/or stream the duo’s 14-track album (with appearances from Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko) below:
Producer extraordinaire Salva is back with the sequel to his incredible “Clips” beat tape. This time taking a more electronic-driven route, the new project shows an even wider range of different styles and sounds.
